The Raw and the Refined: The piece utilizes the natural characteristics of the stone, featuring a heavily textured, tan-colored "crust" at the base that looks like ancient, weathered rock or bark.
Geometric Fractures: Emerging from this raw base are several sharp, angular shards. These facets are polished to reveal a beautiful range of greens, from pale sage to deep forest green, accented by dark, web-like veining.
Inspiration
Survival Through Hardship: The title "Unbroken Spirit" is reflected in the way the stone appears to have survived a violent or transformative event. The deep fractures represent the "scars" or challenges of life, yet the piece remains standing tall and unified. It suggests that while one may be "broken" or changed by experience, the core essence—the spirit—remains intact.
