Sharyn Wortman
Material Drawing 11 Sep - 10 Oct 2025 Material Drawing focuses on Wortman’s experiences of the landscape – real and imagined – utilising charcoal, pastel, slate and paper. Encountering these works, their materiality comes to the fore, Wortman relishing and revealing the properties of her medium through pronounced mark-making.
In 15 evocatively tangible works, Wortman portrays fleeting moments within nature: hints of earth, light, space, water – experiences felt and captured before dissipating again.
