Chris Wright
After a long career in teaching, Chris has recently returned to painting. He paints caravans and the occasional tent, being inspired by the nostalgia of childhood holidays and the memory of endless summers. He also studies the negative dialogue forced upon caravans to evoke their transience.
Each piece encourages the viewer to engage with their own history and the landscape that has shaped them. Every painting has its own story to tell.
This piece is an abandoned caravan in wooded glen.
