This sterling silver square pendant chain necklace features a square focal piece, with hammered circular marks. The square pendant is hung on a fully handmade sterling silver chain, with alternating circular links of varying thickness.
A choker necklace, the chain includes an extension chain with a miniature square, mirroring the pendant. This allows it to be worn at lengths between 12 and 14 inches. Every element of this necklace has been individually handmade by myself and is hallmarked guaranteeing its sterling silver authenticity.
Handmade in Bristol using recycled sterling silver, only one has been made, making it a truly one of a kind necklace.
"I am a metalsmith and jeweller, my practice explores resilience and the stories held within materials. Working across silversmithing and metal fabrication I am drawn to discarded materials, seeing value where others may not, transforming them into jewellery and metalwork that carries both a physical and emotional narrative. Sustainability is central to my practice through the use of recycled metals and through an ethos of thoughtful making, longevity and respect for materials."
"As a neurodivergent artists I have found making has been a way of understanding the world around me. I am fascinated by the relationship between industrial processes and fine craftsmanship, drawing on my background in welding and lorry mechanics alongside traditional silversmithing techniques to create work that bridges functional metalworking and jewellery."
