Stoneware rabbit sculpture in white stoneware clay. The sculpture is built up using texture prints from the ground around the area where the animals are seen. A piece from the ongoing “ground beneath my feet” series which centres around the sensory relationship with a local environment. The piece is finished with oxide colours and high fired.

Geraldine lives and works in Wiltshire. Her current work centres around the intimate relationship with the local environment. Much of her work has a conceptual basis and explores the nature of, and beauty to be found in decay and the natural world. The work combines ceramics with other materials such as metal and yarns.

Geraldine has worked for many years as a community artist and teaches from her studio in Rowde.
