"I originally trained and worked as a china restorer. I discovered painting when we moved to Sydney in 2007, trying to capture the light and vast expanse of Australia. Now living in Wiltshire I have been inspired by how large skies and rolling downland contribute to the atmosphere of the local landscape. I like to sketch and watercolour plein air and work in oils in my studio."
"The ancient Ridgeway track is long and very old. There are so many views to it and from it that reflect the beauty of Wiltshire. This is a perspective from the avenue at Avebury on a spring afternoon."
