Carl Firstbrook is a Wiltshire-based artist living in the village of Aldbourne, within the North Wessex Downs. Inspired by the surrounding countryside and the towns and villages of the nearby Cotswolds, he has painted for over 40 years. 


Originally working in oils, Carl turned to watercolour following his retirement and it is now his preferred medium. Alongside his landscape work, he specialises in creating commissioned watercolour pet portraits for clients.
