Deborah Short is a self-taught artist whose creativity was encouraged from an early age, growing up surrounded by amateur artists. She began her own artistic practice with ink drawings before progressing to acrylic painting, which allowed her to explore colour and form more fully. 

Deborah has developed a particular passion for portraiture, enjoying the challenge of capturing individual character and expression.
