Katy is a mixed media artist based in Marlborough. Her practice is rooted in an intuitive exploration of materials. Her work is process led rather than focusing on a particular outcome, evolving organically as she responds to the qualities of materials she uses.

Katy studied at City and Guilds London Art School in Decorative Art. She was a long standing member of a printmaking group at Rabley Drawing Centre. Her work reflects a sensory and emotional connection to the landscape around her. Texture, shape, layering and the spaces in between are central to her visual language.

This abstract landscape is a response to the feeling of place. An intuitive piece about space, line and colour.
