One of a number of recent works, inspired by a trip to Marrakech. The whole of the Marjorelle Garden - trees and ponds and buildings, were infused with strong colour in the early morning light and I was overwhelmed by the starkly defined shadows falling on the ultramarine painted walls and the patterns they created.
