Leanda McConnell
Leanda works from a shepherd’s hut in Kintbury, where the occasional train whizzing by is a distant reminder of her former life and 14-year career at international publishing house Condé Nast. Since leaving the world of publishing, she has turned her attention fully to painting. Working with a loose, expressive approach, Leanda finds inspiration in the everyday beauty around her, bringing a freshness and spontaneity to familiar subjects through colour, observation and instinct.
"A loose and expressive study observed from my kitchen table. Dating from January, the flowers are a reminder that beauty is never far away."
